Delphi's Placement Record
Placements
in good swing at DELPHI COMPUTECH
Delphi
Computech’s placements are in full swing. In just the first few days in
February, as many as 11 students and around 25 canddaites are placed in this
quarter so far with well-known companies. Its interesting to note that amid the
slowdown, good salary packages are being offered. The placement division
strives to place more and more candidates in the coming months.
Rahul Jain,
Director of Delphi says, “We have seen good build up on the placement
front. February has been a blessing with 11 placement in 11 days. At
Delphi, we work very hard to make sure that the candidates who pursue SAP
courses with us are placed in good companies. Our placement division is
constantly driven towards better placements every month and are in touch with
companies for job opportunities for the students.”
Delphi’s
unique post training support system and mock interview sessions, students
confidence grows and they are able to clear the various rounds of interviews
smoothly. Often we find candidates getting placed on their own as well.

Urgent Onsite Opportunity For SAP BW Consultant
SAP BW Consultant:
Job Purpose- Participate in the development, maintenance and
support of reporting solutions within Group HR, primarily using SAP Business
warehouse/ Business Intelligence (BW/BI)
Key Result Areas:
Establish
new instance of SAP BW to latest standards.
Work
functional/business requirements to design and develop data sources (install
standard datasources, enhance existing datasources and create custom
datasource).
Work from
functional/ business requirements to design and develop BE objects (installation
of standard objects, enhance existing objects and create custom objects) like
info objects, info sources, data targets, transfer rules, update rules etc.
Work from
functional/business specifications to develop BW reports primarily using BEx.
Integration/
BOBJ of SAP BW queries developed using Business Explorer (BEx)/ BOBJ and Web
application Designer may be required.
Work with
the SAP BW team to meet reporting requirements and test the project
deliverables.
Document
test plans and complete unit testing of developed objects and reports.
Work with
Quality Assurance business resources to complete system and integration
testing.
Communicate
with users for business questions, project updates, follow ups, data and report
validations, sign offs and for overall support.
Analyze and
communicate report development issues, including problems with data integrity,
data design, and functional and technical software issues.
Prepare
project related documentation (object designs, business rules, technical
information etc) during the different stages of the project.
Provide
support and maintenance of the existing BW environments (development quality
assurance and production)
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science or appropriate combination if education and
experience. 5-8 years IT experience, a minimum of 3 years with SAP R3 and SAP
HCM modules is essential.
Experience:
At least
have: 3-5 years experience with SAP BW 3.5 and 7.
Experience
with BOBJ is required.
Experience
with flat files implementations is required.
Knowledge of
an ETL tool is plus.
Experience
with SAP BW BEx Query Development and SAP BW Web development is required.
Experience
with SAP R3 development (ABAP programs, data dictionary objects, info sets,
transports etc) is requires.
Financial

Experience
in the following areas would be a distinct advantage:
